Terms of Service & License Agreement
1. The Agreement
By installing, purchasing, or using the Trading Charts for Figma plugin ("the Plugin"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the tool.
2. License Grant
Pete Baran ("the Creator") grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Plugin within Figma.
Free Version: Limited to the chart types and data caps defined in the interface.
Pro Version: Requires a paid subscription. Unlocks unlimited charts and Direct Developer Access.
3. Your Data & Outputs
You own your work: You own the rights to any visual charts, vectors, or designs you generate. Use them for personal, commercial, or client projects. No attribution required.
I own the tool: The Plugin (code, UI, algorithms) is the intellectual property of Pete Baran. You cannot reverse engineer, resell, redistribute the source code, or use this codebase to build a competing product.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Payments are securely processed via Stripe.
License Key & Access Credentials: Upon payment, you will receive a unique License Key via email.
Nature of the Key: This Key is a revocable digital credential that grants access to Pro features. It is not a physical item.
Security: You are responsible for keeping your License Key secure.
Non-Transferability: The Key is licensed to you (the purchaser) only. Sharing, publishing, or distributing your Key allows the Creator to immediately revoke your license without refund.
Cancellation: You can cancel anytime via the "Manage Subscription" link in the plugin. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing cycle.
Renewals: Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled. It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you no longer want the service.
5. Refund Policy
I build tools to solve real problems. However, this is a digital product with immediate access to source features.
When I refund: If the Plugin fails technically (bugs, crashes) and I cannot fix the issue within a reasonable timeframe after you report it.
When I don't refund: Change of mind, incompatibility with non-standard tools, or forgetting to cancel a subscription.
How to ask: Email hi@petebaran.com with your license key and a description of the bug.
6. Disclaimer & Liability
The Plugin is provided "as is." This tool is for design and visualization purposes only. While I strive for accuracy, financial data rendered is not guaranteed to be real-time or accurate enough for actual trading decisions.
Limitation of Liability: In no event shall the Creator be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of this software.
